The Canadian Centre for the Great War is launching an online fundraising drive to raise
5 000$ for their Great War Portraits Online project, which will digitize and make accessible over 1 000 Great War era photographs from the Centre’s collection. The campaign runs from 18 – 25 April 2016. Photographs to be digitized include a panoramic of the second wave of the Canadian Corps attack at Vimy Ridge on 9 April, 1917, and many other never-before-published images of the First World War.
Donate here to help us bring these rare images online and accessible to generous supporters like you.
