Guidelines for visitors to the collection during COVID-19

Beginning on October 2nd, the Canadian Centre for the Great War will resume guided visits of our collection – with some new precautionary measures in place.
  • Visiting hours will be from 11:30 to 2:00 on Saturdays.
  • Visitors must book a guided visit prior. Guided visit will be 30 minutes each.
  • A maximum of 4 people is capped for groups.
  • Upon arrival, visitors must provide their vaccination passport and a piece of identification.
  • Masks will be mandatory for all visitors for the duration of their visit.
  • Visitors are required to sanitize their hands upon entry to the collection. Sanitizer is provided at the entrance.
  • Due to the limited space within the collection, only one group will be allowed at a time.
  • Guides must keep a 2-meter minimum distance from groups whenever possible; members of a group may maintain less distance among themselves.
  • Cash donations are still accepted; however, it will also be possible to offer a donation by debit or credit card.
  • To facilitate contact tracing in the event that it becomes necessary, visitors will be asked to provide a point of contact (an e-mail or phone number per group) at the start of their visit.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation and hope to see you soon!
